About DC Plant Week

A celebration of the DMV plant community.

DC Plant Week brings together plant shops in DC, Maryland, and Virginia to celebrate our community of plant-lovers and providers through special events, in-store sales, and philanthropic support.

In 2022, the first ever DC Plant Week was hosted by Little Leaf as a collaborative celebration among local plant shops to encourage residents to shop small and green up their spaces. Since 2024, Rewild has continued Little Leaf’s legacy, gathering DC-area plant businesses to bring you the ultimate lineup of green goodness.

DC Plant Week returns for its fifth year, August 22nd-29th.

Whether you're a seasoned plant parent or just starting your green thumb journey, DC Plant Week has something for everyone:

  • Discover unique plants and one-of-a-kind finds at your favorite local shops.

  • Shop special sales and curated collections.

  • Learn from the experts with hands-on workshops and demonstrations.

  • Connect with fellow plant lovers and build your community.

  • Support a local non-profit in the horticulture space.
